Transportation Arrangements Students will be transported to Parker Dam and the Orner Farm with a Fullington school bus under the supervision of Conservation District employees. Students can be dropped off outside the Expo II building at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds from 7:45-8:00 AM. If students are dropped off before this time we cannot guarantee there will be adult supervision for your children. We will return to the Fairgrounds by 4:00 PM each day for you to pick up your children. Please make sure someone is there no later than 4:15 to pick your child up. If you will not be able to work with this schedule please call us at 765-2629 before camp to see if alternate arrangements can be made.
Materials We will provide all students with writing utensils, an activity book, a reusable water bottle, a bag, as well as all materials to complete activities. We will also provide lunch through the Clearfield Area Schools’ lunch program. Please make sure we are aware of any allergies your child may have.
Change of clothes/shoes
Please do not bring:
Cell phones, or other electronic devices
Flip flops or sandals
We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Important Information: Drop-off (7:45-8:00 AM) and pick-up (4:00-4:15 PM) location will be Expo II at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds Students MUST wear closed toe shoes. We will be doing many activities that involve running/moving around. This is for their safety. If students do not have appropriate footwear they may be asked to sit out of activities. Please do not allow your child to bring their cell phone or other electronic devices. We want them to focus on the environment not on their devices.
