Macroinvertebrate Discovery Tank Workshop

Join our partners at the Elk County Conservation District and the Stroud Water Research Center for an interactive workshop in Benezette on Wednesday, June 4th!

If you are an educator looking for meaningful ways to bring macroinvertebrate education to your students and communities, this event is for you.

Pa-certified teachers can qualify for Act 48 hours at this FREE event.

Join us in our new event room as we discuss stormwater, how it affects our lives, and what you can do to curtail its impact on our waterways.
Stay until the end of the event to receive a free 50-gallon rain barrel and a gutter adapter on us!

Choose from one of 3 workshop dates:
Thursday, May 15th at 5pm
Saturday, May 17th at 10am
Saturday, May 17th at 12pm

PLEASE NOTE:
Attendees must live in Clearfield County to be eligible for a free rain barrel. Only one rain barrel per household.

Each workshop is limited to the first 30 households to sign up, so save your spot ASAP!

Multiple folks from one household may attend, but please only sign up once to claim your rain barrel.

Events will last approximately 1 hour.

​Each rain barrel and gutter kit comes in a large box - please come with appropriate space in your vehicle to bring your kit home. We can assist with placing boxes into vehicles for folks that may have difficulty lifting by themselves.

All events will be held in the Clearfield CD office showroom at 6395 Clearfield Woodland Highway. Front parking is limited - additional parking can be found down the driveway behind the building. Please consider parking in the back if you are able so we can accommodate attendees with limited mobility. Thank you!
